Felpham residents crowded together to celebrate at the annual Christmas event on December 6th.  As usual, all eyes were on the pupils from Bishop Tufnell, Downview and FCC who sang classic, and some not so classic, carols. Joyce Pritchard, Chairman of FVCS said “mince pies and mulled wine were served to the local community that included teachers and parents of the pupils. The Vicar of St Mary’s, The Reverend John Challis, blessed the tree and after a traditional countdown, the lights were lit by two of the pupils – Paige Burton and Sophie Jakeman".  A Downview pupil, Harriet Winter said "I had a feeling of it actually being Christmas".
