DAY 11, 25TH JULY 
ROSS After his last night beach sleeping Ross left Ryde at Pier at 5.27am and arrived at Felpham Sailing Club at 4.15pm.  Distance approx 24miles.   
He had favourable conditions when he left then probably the worst conditions coming round Selsey Bill with large breaking waves and the current against him for about an hour, but then the current changed and the wind was behind.   "It was great to see David Rowe out windsurfing off Bognor then Sean and Michelle off Bognor pier."   It was all a bit frantic letting people know his arrival time but after his phone call from Selsey Bill it was estimated to be between 3.30/4.00pm.  Sean Hull and Michelle Wakefield took a RIB out and escorted Ross back.   He arrived at Felpham Sailing Club to a fantastic welcome, helpful people who brought the boat trolley down, pulled the boat up. Casey came down the beach carrying a cup of tea and a glass of red wine, just what he needed. The welcome from so many people was a wonderful end to Ross's Rowing Drake to Blake Challenge for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. 
GLENN. "Yes I’m in a student type room in Southsea! Just trying to get through these last days. IoW was more fast roads and unclear footpaths. I’m sure the scenic walks are lovely but I even had to beg a lift along one stretch of fast road with nowhere to walk. I did arrive into Portsmouth just as the Clipper celebrations were ending. And bumped into Terri Fellows!  Very tired now. Looking forward to Hayling tomorrow and then last day Monday. I’ll sort points for people to join. I’ll work on that tonight.  Brilliant that Ross is back. He’s done so well. And that’s a bit of an understatement!"

THE WALKING POINTS IF PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO JOIN IN.  Suggested rendezvous points between Stubbs Croft Farm and FSC with very approx times of arrival.  Setting off at approx 7am with first meeting point being Sidlesham Quay by the Crab and Lobster approx 9.30am. Distance to finish approx 6.7 miles/11km.   Next meeting point is the end of Church Road in Pagham near the Salt House approx 10.45am. Distance to finish is approx 5.2 miles/8.6km.   Refreshment time at Pagham Beach Cafe behind Pagham yacht club approx 11.15am. Distance to finish approx 4.5 miles/7.3km. Refreshment time and final meeting point is West Park cafe off Silverston Avenue approx 12.30pm. Distance to finish approx 2 miles/3.3km.
