Thank you to all FVCS members who came to help at the St Michael's Allotments workparty this morning. We love this special space next to the rife and with wild woodland either end. It provides activity and wellbeing...and of course produce for many people. This morning's work party demonstrated that St Michael's is a thriving community. FVCS and plotholders working together. We got pathway chippings down, hedgerow cleared, rubble away, compost heap readied, brambles cut back and the dry levee tidied. Thanks to Moira, Jenny, Val and Jane for teas and cakes and Ron for the bacon (and veggie) butties.  All members are welcome to our regular Tuesday morning seesions on the Society plot and orchard.    Look out for the plant sale on Sunday 15th May at St Michael's.
